In a classic turn of events, Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan gets delayed again after shifting its release date from April 10! Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the action biggie was supposed to be released on April 10 in a massive clash with Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan.

However, both films decided against the release date and shifted it by a few hours. Both decided to opt for paid previews on April 10, 6 PM onwards, before arriving full-fledgedly on April 11.

Now, Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has yet again decided to shift its release as the film opts against the paid previews as well and will be released only on Eid, April 11.

Advance Booking Commenced For April 10

Initially, the advance booking of the film for day 1 commenced on April 10, and reports suggest that all the tickets that were booked will be refunded. The film was performing slowly at the ticket window any which way, and now, with the shift in the release date, it might create some buzz or hype, which is much needed to pick up the pace.

Makes Room For Maidaan

As Bade Miyan Chote Miyan decides to arrive on Eid, April 11, it has made some room for Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan, which arrives a few hours early for paid previews on April 10, 6 PM onwards. This might give the sports drama a breather, a first-mover advantage, and a phenomenal word of mouth by the time Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff’s action film gears up for a release.

Might Accommodate A Grand Eid Opening

Reports suggest that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan makers were not sure if people would step out of their homes before Eid to watch the film, and hence, they decided to release the film on the festival itself, which might accommodate a better Eid opening number.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which takes its name from the classic film by Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, has no similarity with the previous comedy film that was released on Diwali of the year 1999 and co-incidentally also faced a clash with Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai!

Popularly abbreviated as BMCM, the Ali Abbas Zafar film is touted as one of the biggest action films in Hindi Cinema, starring two of the biggest stars of two different generations. Apart from Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff, the film also stars Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Maanushi Chhillar, and Ronit Roy!
