John Abraham who has been pretty successful as an actor and producer lately has bought the remake rights of Malayalam thriller Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The film starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon will be remade in Hindi under the production house JA Entertainment.

John Abraham took to Twitter and made the announcement for his fans, “Ayyappanum Koshiyum, a film that strikes a perfect balance between action, thrill and a good story. At JA Entertainment we are keen to bring such appealing stories to our audience..we hope to make a truly engaging film with this remake in Hindi. Really Excited !!!”

Meanwhile, John Abraham was last seen in a motivational video created by his Satyameva Jayate director Milap Zaveri. John said he wanted to be a part of this gesture that tells people how strong they have become by uniting during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

John Abraham recites a poem titled Mera Bharat Mahaan in the video, which has been penned by Milap.

“When Milap came to me with this idea, I knew I had to do it. I wanted to be a part of this gesture that tells people how strong we have become by uniting in this dire situation and thank those who are risking their lives every day to help others. Humanity as a race is facing this threat on a global level and it is our job to help, motivate and inspire each other in any way we can. Through this video, we just wanted to tell everyone out there that we shall overcome this,” said John Abraham.

On the acting front, John Abraham’s last two releases were Batla House and Pagalpanti. While his Batla House was appreciated and emerged as a huge success, Pagalpanti was a disappointment.
