The shelving of Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Alia Bhatt’s Inshallah has to lead to a horde of rumours. From stepping in of Shah Rukh Khan to the various reasons why the movie was shelved, it’s been a roller-coaster ride of unconfirmed reports. Since yesterday, the angle of Alia Bhatt leaving an Aamir film was doing rounds but there has been an addition to it.
Alia Bhatt is disappointed over the shelving of the film and she has every reason to be so. The reason behind the disappointment of Alia is stated to be declining an Aamir film.
As per a report published in DNA, a source quotes, “Alia was approached for a film with Aamir Khan. However, she had to decline the offer as she had reserved all the dates for Inshallah. Alia was looking forward to collaborating with Salman and SLB. The actress is very upset as she gave up on various other projects too during the period.”
Salman took to Twitter late on Sunday, where he promised to come out with another film on Eid 2020. “The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!” Details related to the delay have not been disclosed. Inshallah marks the reunion of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman after two decades. The two last worked together in the 1999 Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He also appeared in a cameo in Saawariya (2007).
Alia Bhatt, as of now, is prepping up for Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra. The movie was postponed due to pending work in the VFX department and is said to get released in Summer 2020.
