Ajay Devgn’s January release, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior proved to be a huge and pleasant surprise at the box office. The film, which was made on a huge scale was always expected to do well. But the way it shattered many records made everyone in the industry full of happiness. The film did a business of 279.50 crores and thus emerged as the highest grosser ever for Ajay.
Ajay Devgn, who plays the title role in the period biopic, received immense appreciation for the role and his performance. Along with him, Saif Ali Khan’s Udaybhan Singh also received many accolades.
Now, on Independence Day, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is all set to entertain and inspire the fans yet again. The film will premiere on television and Ajay Devgn feels pretty happy about it.

Besides Ajay and Saif, this Om Raut directorial also featured Kajol in the role of Tanaji’s wife. Sharad Kelkar played the role of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj while Luke Kenny essayed that of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
