Ajay Devgn & YRF’s rivalry is known to all. Even though Ajay’s wife and actress Kajol has done a few of her most iconic films like DDLJ & Fanaa with the banner, Ajay and YRF never came together. In fact, back in 2012 when Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar and YRF’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan clashed at the box office, it created huge waves in the industry.
However, in the past couple of years, Ajay Devgn & YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra have worked together to dissolve their issues. Now what we hear is big news for the fans of both.
Both Ajay Devgn & Aditya Chopra have joined hands for an upcoming big film which will be the directorial debut of Rahul Rawail’s son Shiv Rawail. A trade source has been quoted as saying by Pinkvilla, “Ajay and Adi were in talks to collaborate on a film for the last one and a half years. They finally locked in on a project which will be their first together. Rahul Rawail’s son Shiv Rawail has been signed on by YRF to direct his debut directorial and for the same, the producers have locked Ajay in the lead. Details about the same are not yet known as the project is completely kept under wraps.”

Interestingly, YRF is all set to complete its 50 years in the industry. The production house will mark the event by announcing some big films altogether. Talking about how this project will be a part of the YRF 50 announcement, the trade source added, “The team at Yash Raj are planning a grand line up of some massive films being announced to commemorate YRF’s 50th year in Bollywood. The movies include Tiger 3 with Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif, Siddharth Anand’s next starring Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone, Victor Acharya’s comedy with Vicky Kaushal and now, the Shiv Rawail project that stars Ajay.”
Reportedly an official announcement of the same is expected to be made on Yash Chopra’s birthday i.e. September 27.
