Aamir Khan was recently shooting for his upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha in Chandigarh opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is a Hindi remake of Tom Hank’s iconic film Forrest Gump. Amid the lockdown, they had to halt the film and get back home.
Akshay Kumar was the first one to donate for PM CARES Fund with the hefty amount of 25 crores followed by other Indian celebrities like Bhushan Kumar, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Diljit Dosanjh, Guru Randhawa. Shah Rukh Khan recently made the contributions to the same and extended help by giving his four-storey personal office in Mumbai to BMC.
Now, Dangal actor Aamir Khan is the recent addition who is donating to PM CARES Fund. Yes, you read that right. Not just that, he is contributing to Maharashtra Chief Minister Relief Fund and extended support to the daily wage workers of his forthcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha.
A lot of celebrities all around the world are making donations to overcome this health crisis. Zero actress Anushka Sharma and husband Virat Kohli contributed for the same. Ajay Devgn, Nana Patekar, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Kartik Aaryan are a few names who made the donations too.
