Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock has been one of the greatest entertainers in pro-wrestling history. He literally worked his a** off for WWE and well, he got his much-deserved due. Now, all eyes are on his daughter Simone to carry forward his legacy. She recently signed the contract with the company.
During one of his recent talks, Dwayne Johnson opens up about Simone joining WWE and her hard work to pursue the pro-wrestling career. He also reveals that his daughter (18) is the youngest pro-wrestler to be signed by the company. He also says that the fact that she joined WWE, blows his mind.
On Friday, Dwayne Johnson talked about his daughter on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Speaking about Simone’s career, he said, “She signed her contract with the WWE [World Wrestling Entertainment], and you know, it’s just — it blows my mind. I mean, first all, what an honour that my daughter wants to follow in my footsteps, but more importantly…she actually wants to create and blaze her own path which is just so important.”
Dwayne Johnson stated, “At 16, she was working her a** off quietly under the radar, in the ring, getting thrown around, and you know, all the bumps and bruises that go with pro wrestling. I’m very, very proud of her.”
