The lockdown implemented since March has hit the financial condition of several TV actors. Shweta Tiwari’s co-star Rajesh Kareer from the show Begusarai has shared a heartwrenching video asking for financial help. The actor says he wants to return to Punjab.
Despite the government of Maharashtra allowing the shoots to resume, no one knows when things will go back to normal. In his video pleading for financial help, Rajesh Kareer requested each person to contribute at least 300-400 rupees so that he could return to Punjab and find work. Kareer shared this video on his Facebook page.
In the emotional video, Rajesh Kareer said, “Baat yeh hai kii agar sharam karunga toh yeh zindagi bohot bhari padne wali hai. Bas itni hi guzaarish karna chahta hoon aap logon se ki mujhe madad ki bohot sakht zaroorat hai. Haalaat bohot hi naazuk bane hue hai humare (If I feel ashamed now, then life can become very difficult. I am in desperate need of help and I request to you. My situation is quite critical).”
“Aap logon se meri yeh humble request hai ki bhale hi Rs 300-400 dein. Itni agar aap log madad karenge toh. Kyunki shooting kab start hogi, kab na ho, kuch pata nahi. Mujhe kaam mile ya na mile, kuch pata nahi hai. Life ekdum block si ho gayi hai. Kuch samajh nahi aa raha. Jeena chahta hoon (I want to make a humble request to you to contribute Rs 300-400 if you can. If you can help with this much. I don’t know when shoots will resume or if I will get any work. Life has come to a standstill and I am unable to understand anything. I want to live)”, said Rajesh in the video.

The Begusarai actor has been living with his family for 15-16 years in Mumbai. As he didn’t have any acting project for some time, it has been difficult for him to live in this lockdown in the past 3 months.
Meanwhile, along with Shweta Tiwari, Rajesh Kareer has also worked with Shivangi Joshi and Vishal Aditya Singh in Begusarai.
