OMG! Ronit Roy Refuses To Work On TV Again Until THIS Condition Of His Is Fulfilled

Ronit Roy is a popular television actor and is known for his illustrious acting career. Not just TV shows and films, but the actor has now made his the digital debut with Hotstar’s Hostages. While he made his acting debut with the small screen, he has now made a rather shocking confession by saying that he has made a deliberate attempt to not doing TV anymore.

Yes, you read that right! While Ronit says that he has nothing against television, he says the TV does not satisfy him as an actor anymore. Opening up about his reasons of staying away from television for a while now, Ronit Roy has been quoted saying, “Yes, in a way it has been a conscious decision. It’s not that I am opposed to doing TV. Whether you are an actor, scientist or be any other profession, there is something called raising the bar, leveling up, personal growth and progressiveness.”

The Adalat actor further went on to say to ETimes, “When all these things evade for years, then that means something is wrong. I would gladly do Television. After Adalat, when I did a cameo (in Shakti as Advocate Rajat Singh), it missed all the things I said. Till the time I don’t see a change, I am going to refrain from it.”

The veteran actor was quizzed of the success of Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot to which he humbly choose to say that he would rather let the audience be the judge of it rather than commenting himself. For the unversed, Ronit Roy became a household name for his portrayal of Mr. Bajaj in the original soap.
