Speaking about the same, Karan said, “It was for a TV commercial. But you know I have been rejected a lot of time. It was not easy for me to get into the industry. Like I remember when I used to go for TV shows they used to reject me saying ‘no you have a very hard face, you should try modeling instead’ and when I used to go for modeling they used to say ‘your face is too soft, you should try acting instead.’ There was a time when I used to feel like ‘oh nobody wants me.’ So it took a lot of time for me to get zeroed down on my first project.”

The actor is currently seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagi Kay, where he is portraying the character of Rishabh Bajaj.

Karan has also made his digital debut with ATL Balaji’s BOSS, alongside Chak De actress Sagarika Ghatge!
