Vikas Jayaram Pathak is known for his abusive content of social media under the name Hindustani Bhau. However, it was his stint in the Salman Khan hosted reality show, Bigg Boss 13 that made the aspiring actor a household name. But this time the man is in the headlines for not so pleasant reasons and it all began after his recent video.
Taking to his official social media handle, the Bigg Boss 13 ex-contestant shared a highly abusive video where he has asked people to not tolerate anything being said about Hindu Gods and Goddesses. With very explicit language, several users had asked for a ban on the Bigg Boss contestants videos, while some had also asked for his arrest.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, comedian Kunal Kamra urged the Mumbai Police to take action against Hindustani Bhau. His Tweet read, “HM @AnilDeshmukhNCP & @MumbaiPolice, Calling for open violence is a crime. This is a mob building & hate spreading excercise. This is deeply alarming. Could lead to violence & an artist not getting due process. Remarks like “System side main” are an insult to our constitution…”

Similarly, actress Kubbra Sait too wrote against Hindustani Bhau, “Why do people like this still have access to social media? Why is nothing legally being done to these who instigate? Who gives them the power to get away with words? Why is there no action being taken?”
Finally, the microblogging site had suspended his account. In an email response to The Print, a representative from Instagram said, “We absolutely do not allow behaviour that threatens the safety of our community and removed this content yesterday (Tuesday) for violating our Community Guidelines.”
Meanwhile, for those of you unversed, Hindustani Bhau had earlier lashed out against Anushka Sharma’s Bulbul. He accused saying Netflix released film to promote ‘Hinduphobic’ content. He had written, “Anushka Sharma ki Bulbul Web Series Par Bhagwan Shree Krishna Or Radha Ko Gande Bhasha Se Apmanit Kiya Gaya Hai, Kya Aise Logon Par Ye Sarkar Karvayi Karegi ? Ab Tak Ekta Kapoor Par Koi Bhi Karvayi Kyu Nahi Ki ? Kab Tak Aise Log Humare Desh Ko Badnaam Karenge ? @CMOMaharashtra”
Hindustani Bhau was also responsible for lashing out at Ekta Kapoor’s XXX 2 for disrespecting the Indian Army. While the video has now been taken down, some of the things spoken by Pathak were, “System side mein, complaint side mein, ab inko marna hai bas.”
