Rashmika Mandanna who kickstarted 2020 by delivering 2 superhits, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Bheeshma happens to be in talks all across following her next, Pushpa. The film which has Tollywood star Allu Arjun in lead is one of the most anticipated releases.
While many actors are busy lending a helping hand to their spouses or exploring their creative sides, Rashmika is busy learning the Chittoor accent for Pushpa amid lockdown.
Rashmika herself confirmed the news, at ask me anything segment on Instagram, the actress was asked by her fan, ‘Came to know u r learning a different accent fr Pushpa. Is it true?’
Rashmika replied, ‘Well yes but how do you knowwwww?’
Reportedly, Rashmika in Pushpa will be seen as a rural girl and also as Allu Arjun’s love interest. To give complete justice to her character Rashmika is taking virtual lessons in Chittoor (a district in Andhra Pradesh) accent.
Rashmika in Pushpa will be seen sporting de-glam look as per her character’s requirement.
Pushpa which was slated to go on floors this month has been postponed due to lockdown. The action thriller will have Allu Arjun as a truck driver and red sandalwood smuggler.
Pushpa will be helmed by filmmaker Sukumar, and music for the film will be composed by Tollywood music singing sensation Devi Sri Prasad.
Pushpa will also be Allu Arjun’s first pan India release in his career, as it will hit big screens in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
