The South Indian actress Nithya Menen, who is now as popular in Bollywood, recently revealed that her OK Kanmani co-star, Dulquer Salmaan, once tried to convince her to get married.
Nithya Menen will be soon appearing on the second season of Breath: Into The Shadows on Amazon Prime alongside Abhishek Bachchan, which will be her debut web-series. She is great friends with Dulquer Salmaan. Together, the duo has shared screen space in movies like OK Kanmani, Bangalore Days, and 100 Days of Love.
Nithya Menen told Cinema Express that, “He (Dulquer) is a proper family guy, and told me how great his marriage is and tried to convince me to get married too.”
Well, that’s how close they are!
Nithya Menen’s chemistry with Salmaan is quite popular with many fans. She says, “Our chemistry in films just happened on screen. Even we were surprised when we saw the final output.”
Speaking of her character in OK Kanmani, Nithya Menen said, “Mani sir got the best out of me by just letting me be. How my character in the film, Tara, views life is close to how I do. Many scenes did not make it to the final edit, but they were all scenes that helped me connect with the character.”
The actress believes in focusing on achievements. Talking to BollywoodLife, Nithya Menen said, “My take on everything is there’s no point sitting and blaming anyone for your life, your job, or your career. I really don’t feel the need to say who all are going wrong or say, ‘this person is going wrong or that person is going wrong.’ If somebody is doing well, let them do that well, I think, just let them be, and don’t, you know, try to question why they should not do well. Instead, you focus on your skills, on your things, what you want to achieve and you do some good stuff, that’s when you’ll do something productive. To be honest, I don’t even debate these things in my head because I’m far too occupied in doing something productive with my own life.”
We agree with you, Ms. Menen!
