Legendary actor and superstar Rajinikanth has been making headlines from the past couple of days following his appearance in wildlife survival expert Bear Gryll’s reality adventure show, Into The Wild With Bear Grylls. The Sivaji actor who completed the shoot for the adventure show on Tuesday at Bandipur National Park is now in the news following a demand by a group of activists to arrest Thalaiva for shooting at the park which also is a Tiger reserve.
As per a report from The Times Of India, activists are quite miffed following the fear that the shoot and presence of the crew at the Tiger reserve may have threatened and scared the wildlife there. And also for the reason that the crew could have opted to shoot the episode in monsoon rather than the ongoing dry season which is very risky and hazardous to wildlife thereby igniting wildfires that could spread rapidly.
It was only yesterday when thalaiva took to his Twitter handle to thank Bear Grylls for his support during the shoot, as the Darbar actor tweeted: “Thank you very much dear @BearGrylls for an unforgettable experience … love you. @DiscoveryIN thank you #IntoTheWildWithBearGrylls”
