Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya which is helmed by filmmaker Koratala Siva has been making headlines ever since its inception late last year. The film that happens to be one of the anticipated releases of the year in the Telugu film industry may be pushed for its release next year.

As per a report from Tollywood.net, director Koratala Siva isn’t sure that whether or not he will be able to finish the remaining portions of the film on time and release it before the year-end because of the ongoing lockdown due to the health crisis. And also it will be an uphill task for him to ask his cast and crew members to extend their given dates for the film post lockdown. Following which most probably the release of Acharya may be pushed to next year.

And also for actress Trisha’s walkout from the film due to some creative differences with the makers.

After Trisha’s walkout from the social drama, the makers have roped in Kajal Aggarwal opposite Chiranjeevi in lead. Reportedly, 40 percent of the film has been shot.

The film will have Chiranjeevi as a Naxalite. The film helmed by Koratala Siva is bankrolled by Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company and Matinee productions banner.
