Dharma Productions drops the second trailer of the much-awaited film Udta Teer. It is not like any regular thriller; there is action, drama, patriotism, the India-Pakistan conflict, but with loads of humor! With the second trailer, we get to see more of the characters in the upcoming film, and I am here with my take on this new Udta Teer trailer, a film also backed by Sikhya Entertainment alongside Karan Johar’s Dharma. Keep scrolling for the review.
Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most versatile actors, and he is leading a star-cast, alongside other talented supporting actors, including Sara Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Mukul Dev, Supriya Pilgaonkar, and Suhail Nayyar. This is also Mukul Dev’s last on-screen appearance, so it will have an emotional impact on viewers.
Udta Teer trailer 2 generates more excitement
The first trailer gave us the gist of the story, revealing that a Pakistani spy loses his memory, setting off a chain of chaotic events. The second trailer leans more towards the film’s action and showcases the interactions between its characters. There is situational and physical humor, and everything seems well-balanced. It also feels refreshing to see Gulshan Grover in a comic role.

Udta Teer Trailer 2 Review: Reveals little, but promises chaotic fun
The frustration between the characters, stemming from the memory loss of Ayushmann Khurrana’s character, is evident throughout the trailer. From Rahul Bose to Gulshan Grover, everyone steals the show in this two-minute-and-18-second preview. However, Mukul Dev has my heart. The way he has transformed his accent and mannerisms is particularly impressive, and I am sure he will shine the brightest in the film. There were many more glimpses of the late actor in this Udta Teer trailer 2. It is sad, though, that Mukul is no longer with us and will not be around to witness the appreciation he is receiving. It focuses on almost all the characters besides the main lead, which is a good thing, as it gives everyone a chance to shine and makes people look forward to catching them in the full movie.
Moving on, the second trailer reveals little beyond what we saw in the first. We know the film promises plenty of chaos, but the story remains unpredictable. Amid all the chaos, I am curious to know whether Ayushmann Khurrana’s character will eventually regain his memory or if the entire act is just a charade.
More about the movie
The film follows a Pakistani spy who accidentally disrupts a world of secrets, deception, and distrust, setting off a chaotic chain of events. Blending high-stakes espionage with big laughs, this fast-paced, family-friendly comedy sees the unlikely hero caught in a whirlwind of confusion where nobody, least of all him, knows what is really going on. Udta Teer, directed by Aakash Kaushik and produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain, will be released on October 23.
