With each passing day, the number of coronavirus cases is on the rise in India. Though Kerala was the first state to report India’s first COVID-19 case, the past few days have been quite good for the Southern state. The number of new corona cases registered in ‘God’s Own Country’ is comparatively low than other states of India. Mollywood superstar Mohanlal has stepped in to lend a supporting hand to fight the crisis by donating a sum of 50 Lakhs to Kerala CM’s Distress Relief Fund.
It was on Tuesday when Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan at a press meet revealed Mohanlal’s contribution to the relief fund amid the current crisis. The multiple times’ national award-winning actor also thanked the Kerala government for bringing in the safety and precautionary measures.
