At a panel at Justice Con on Saturday, Zack Snyder was asked about Joss Whedon as his replacement and what he thought of it. He was joined by his wife, Debbie Snyder.

The director said, “It certainly was our decision to leave the movie, in the light of what happened. And was it specifically our call on who would do it, and all that? It was before the committee. It was a thing that was … we were pretty distracted at the time.”

Although it was said by the Warner Bros. that Joss Whedon was just giving the final touches to the movie, it is said that most of the movie parts were changed according to Whedon. This fact was not received well by Zack Snyder fans.

Snyder’s footage was shown to a few screenwriters before Whedon took the reigns. The screenwriters included Andrea Berloff of ‘World Trade Center’ and Allan Heinberg of ‘Wonder Woman’.

Zack Snyder’s famous ‘Snyder Cut’ of Justice League will soon release on HBO Max. Although no official date of release has been shared, fans are very excited nonetheless.
