One thing Marvel Studios is known for is perfect casting. MCU fans can’t imagine anyone else playing Tony Stark/Iron Man other than Robert Downey Jr. Chris Evans is the perfect Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Scarlett Johansson is THE Black Widow for all. Similarly, Tom Holland is the right actor to play Spider-Man.
Today, Tom is one of the most loved actors in Hollywood, especially due to his Spider-Man act. He has exactly what it requires to play Peter Parker. He’s young, goofy, weird and curious AF. The first time the Onward actor entered MCU as the Spidey was in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. The actor had to give an audition for the same.
Tom Holland’s audition video is going viral on the internet. In the audition tape, Tom looks younger than he already is. He’s sporting a simple black t-shirt and grey pants. In the video, the Spider-Man: Homecoming actor does his Peter Parker act. The actor says that for the audition, he went on making self-tapes after self-tapes. This is the audition tape that the actor had sent digitally to the casting team.
