Mark Ruffalo became the Hulk for Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2012 for the film, The Avengers. Earlier, Edward Norton played the role of Bruce Banner in 2008 film, The Incredible Hulk. However, he was replaced by Mark in 2012 due to differences between Norton and MCU.
In Avengers: Endgame, Ruffalo’s Smart Hulk damaged his hand when he wore the infinity gauntlet to bring back those who Thanos snapped in Avengers: Infinity War. When Marvel announced its Phase 4 projects, fans hoped they will have something in store for Hulk. However, there was nothing.
But Mark Ruffalo isn’t the one who will give up. Several times, he shared his interesting idea about what Marvel can do with his mean and green big superhero character. This time, the Begin Again actor gave another peculiar idea and it involves Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
In an interview with Variety, Ruffalo said that he has grown up reading X-Men and Wolverine. Now that Disney-Marvel has purchased Fox and have the rights to the X-Men films, they can be used for Hulk’s future. The Avenger: Endgame actor said, “Maybe Hulk and Wolverine could hook up.”
We wonder what Hugh Jackman has to say about it. Also, it would be interesting to see Bruce Banner and Wolverine together in a film. After all, both are powerful and yet have an emotional side to them.
