A few weeks ago, actress Thandie Newton showed courage to speak against Tom Cruise over her bitter experience while shooting for Mission: Impossible 2. Addressing the same, American actress Leah Remini has showered the lady with praises to speak against the so-called ‘nice guy’.
While promoting her anti-Scientology podcast, Scientology: Fair Game, Leah praised Thandie Newton and blasted out at the action star. She also went onto say that Tom tries hard to maintain his good image in front of the public, but he’s totally a different person from inside.
Leah Remini was indulged in a talk with The Daily Beast. While praising Newton, she said, “That takes huge b*lls to do what she did, and if more people speak out in that way, and be brave enough to do so, I think we might get somewhere. Tom has gotten away with being this ‘nice guy,’ because that’s what Scientology policy says—to create good PR in the world and make those ‘good actions’ known. But if you actually look at his actions, they’re not consistent.”
Leah Remini even recalled getting into trouble when she questioned for projecting Tom Cruise as Scientology’s face.
She added, “He can’t keep a f*ckin’ marriage together, he’s jumping on couches, he’s acting like he knows anything about postpartum. I learned pretty quickly that that’s not something you should be doing, because Tom Cruise is considered a messiah in Scientology.”
“This is a man who has not even seen his own daughter in years. That this guy can be running around and having people think he’s this super-nice guy, I don’t get it. But that’s the Hollywood-bullsh*t game people play,” Leah Remini continued.
