From conventional carpet events to family weddings, Deepika Padukone has enrobed many note-worthy Sabyasachi garbs just about everywhere, and for her most recent appearance, the actress picked one more eye-catching drape by the renowned designer.
Spotted joining Kriti Sanon, Malaika Arora and Ayushmann Khurrana and other, Deepika Padukone arrived in style at the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2019 in Mumbai. She wore a red floral saree by Sabyasachi and we think it is a must-have in your ethnic wardrobe as well. The saree is a light, fuss-free pick for your next Roka or wedding outing.
Deepika opted for a red sari patterned with oversized efflorescences in softened hues of pink and white. Instead of pairing her look with a contrasting blouse, Deepika wore her sari with a blouse made out of the matching cloth featuring a deep neckline. The six-yard showcased a busy print and came without any embellishment except a little detail on the border with golden thread.
Deepika Padukone finished her look with a pair of chunky Kundan earrings that effortlessly amped up her ensemble. She ditched wearing any neckpiece or rings and let the saree do the talking. Deepika tied her hair in a neat bun and added a rose to make the bun stand out. She added a very simple pair of heels to finish the look.
For her makeup, Padukone went all out. She went for a dewy base, red-tinted smoky eyes, a pop of highlighter and terracotta lips. The actress applied a hint of kohl on the water line that accentuated her beautiful eyes even more. Thick eyebrows, minimal blush and a beautiful smile finished the look.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak next. Co-starring Vikrant Massey, the film is based on the life of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. It will hit the theatres on January 10, 2020.
Chhapaak will clash with Ajay Devgn period drama’s ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior‘ co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar, Ajinkya Deo.
Apart from this film, Deepika will also be seen in Ranveer Singh starrer ‘83. She will essay the role of Ranveer Singh’s wife in the film. Deepika is also roped in for Shakun Batra’s film alongside Ananya Pandey and Siddhanth Chaturvedi. Deepika is also speculated to work with Hrithik Roshan in Satte Pe Satta remake.
