Deol Family’s newest edition of Yamla Pagla Deewana failed to spark off as many gags as the prequel, and hence the film’s performance has been rather flat at the domestic box office.

So far, the film has earned 36.80 crores at the domestic box office. Despite being a film served with Punjabi tadka and burrrah-action, the film suffered a major beating from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani at the global box-office. The total overseas collections of the film is 6.30 crores so far, taking its total worldwide nett to 43.10 Crores.

With that the film has crossed the 50 crore gross income mark. The worldwide gross collections of the film that now rests at 55.32 crores is a modest sum going by the success of YPD (2011).
