The period gangster action thriller grossed an outstanding 119.3 crore in India on the first day, while internationally, it grossed an estimated 20 crore. Combining both, the film scored a staggering 139.3 crore net at the worldwide box office on day 1. With such a start, it registered the 2nd biggest opening for Sandalwood after KGF Chapter 2 (161.38 crore). For a standalone film, it pulled off the biggest-ever start of Sandalwood.
For Yash, it’s a huge achievement, as he has become the only Kannada actor to score two 100-crore global openings. In fact, he’s the only Kannada actor to have achieved a 100-crore opening globally.
