Toxic has turned out to be a nightmare for the makers, resulting in huge losses. Since it marked Yash’s return after KGF Chapter 2, expectations were sky-high. Unfortunately, it couldn’t even earn a respectable sum, given the mammoth 500 crore budget. How much did Toxic earn at the Indian box office in 23 days?

The period gangster action thriller wrapped up its third week by scoring a dismal 14 lakh on the fourth Thursday, day 23. In total, it earned only 1.41 crore in the third week. Overall, the film has earned 245.4 crore net at the Indian box office, which equals 289.61 crore gross. From here, it’ll hardly add any significant numbers and is heading for a lifetime collection of 245.9-246.1 crore net.

Box office verdict of Toxic

Toxic was made at an estimated budget of 500 crore, and has earned 245.4 crore net so far. So, in 23 days, it has recovered only 49.08% of the budget. To escape the flop verdict, it must achieve a recovery of over 50%, and to do so, it must score 250 crore+ net. Since the film won’t be able to score even 250 crore net, it has secured a flop verdict at the Indian box office, as per Koimoi’s parameters.
