According to the latest update on Box Office Mojo, The Odyssey collected $19.7 million on its 6th three-day weekend at the box office in North America. It remained at #3 in the domestic box office ranking, and despite losing 126 theaters in North America, the film dropped just 16.5% from last weekend. The domestic total of the film hits $539.3 million after its 6th weekend. The film crossed $900 million internationally this weekend, and its current total is $908.9 million. Adding that to its domestic cume, the film’s worldwide collection hits $1.448 billion.

However, Oppenheimer won the award season fight with 7 Oscars to its credit. Nolan has won the financial war as well with his very next film, The Odyssey, beating Barbie worldwide.
By surpassing Barbie’s global haul, the mythological epic has also climbed into the all-time top 20 global grossers. It is now the all-time #19 highest-grossing film at the worldwide box office. It is inches away from beating Avatar: Fire and Ash worldwide as well. The Odyssey, with an ensemble cast, was released in the theaters on July 17.
