For the unversed, Masters of the Universe is a sci-fi fantasy film by Travis Knight which is based on the popular media franchise.

According to Box Office Mojo, Masters of the Universe, featuring Jared Leto as the main villain, collected just $64.8 million in its theatrical run domestically. It is a major box-office flop of 2026, made on a massive $170 million budget. Meanwhile, Street Fighter has an $82 million budget, which is more than twice that of the Jared Leto starrer. The video game adaptation is around $11 million away from surpassing the Jared Leto starrer, which will be a small but efficient achievement for the former movie.
