It is at #2, pushing The Odyssey to #3 in the box office rankings in North America, despite losing 217 theaters on Friday, making way for newcomers. The film’s domestic total hits $935.2 million, thus missing Star Wars: The Force Awakens$936.6 million domestic total by a whisker this weekend.

According to Luiz Fernando‘s report, Brand New Day is the 5th Hollywood film in history to cross the $1.5 billion milestone internationally.

Combined with the domestic total, the worldwide collection of this Tom Holland-led comic book movie is $2.45 billion. It is tracking to earn between $2.5 billion and $2.6 billion in its original run worldwide. It will thus not beat Avengers: Endgame‘s $2.8 billion global lifetime total.
