Jason Sanjay made his directorial debut with the Tamil film Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan, which was released in theaters on October 2. Although the film held well during its opening weekend, it failed to sustain that momentum at the box office in the following days. In fact, its opening-weekend performance was largely driven by the curiosity surrounding a film made by Thalapathy Vijay’s son. However, the film struggled to maintain audience interest thereafter. Scroll ahead for a detailed box office report.
How Much Did Sigma Earn At The Box Office In 10 Days?
On its second Sunday, the film earned just 13 lakh. Notably, it earned the same amount on the previous day, its second Saturday. Meanwhile, due to weak demand, the film’s show count dropped by 1,000 in its second week. As a result, its net total after 10 days stands at 8.58 crore, which translates to 10.12 crore gross. Given this performance, the film will most likely wrap up its box office run this week.
