It was a fantastic first week for Shaitaan as collections went past the 80 crore mark. This is the kind of trajectory that was expected for the film when it opened at 15.21 crore, and the day-on-day traction has been absolutely in line.
The start of the film had exceeded expectations, the weekend grew well enough to cross the 50 crore mark, and subsequently, the weekdays held on well too to keep the film in circulation right till the close of Week One.
What’s most heartening is that the collections have been ultra-steady from Tuesday to Thursday. From 6.57 crore on Tuesday to now 5.82 crore on Thursday, the film has hardly taken a dip. In between Wednesday, too, it was 6.27 crore, which further goes on to establish Shaitaan as a set film.

With such trending happening, the Vikas Bahl-directed supernatural drama thriller is now well-placed to have a good second week as well. While Friday should again go past the 5 crore mark, the growth on Saturday would be quite good.
So far, the Ajay Devgn and Madhavan starrer has collected 81.60 crore, and especially for this genre, it’s a very remarkable number. From here till the 100 crore milestone, it would be a quick-fire journey for the film. Once that happens, it would be only the second Bollywood release in 2024 (after Fighter) to achieve this milestone.
