With less than 24 hours remaining before director Nitesh Tiwari’s monumental epic opens in theaters on November 5 (Diwali 2026), the pre-sale counters have not erupted into the havoc they were expected to bring!
As per the trends, till November 4, 4 PM, Ramayana has recorded a colossal 35.29 crore gross revenue, which means a net collection of 29.8 crore for the opening day in advance (excluding blocked seats). With a staggering 9.19 lakh tickets already sold across 24,378 shows in India, the pre-sales of the film have officially zoomed past the complete opening day numbers of Besharam (21.56 crore), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (19.45 crore), and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (15.73 crore)!
With this pre-sales surge, Ramayana has officially locked in the 4th biggest opening of Ranbir Kapoor’s Career, achieved purely on advance ticket sales before a single morning show has screened!

Talking about the film’s regional dominance, Karnataka is driven by a local craze for Yash (playing Ravana), leading all domestic territories with 1.38 lakh tickets sold and generating 6.54 crore in gross revenue!
The total houseful count has surged to 81 shows, alongside 36 fully sold-out shows, with major spikes across Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu screens.
