Arjun Das’s latest film, Once More, is heading for a disappointing end at the box office. The Tamil romance film clashed with Nayanthara’s Hi at the box office. Sadly, neither film found much success at the box office. While Hi has collected relatively more than Once More, both films are headed for a disappointing end. Arjun Das, on the other hand, is eyeing a second 2026 box-office failure.

How Much Did Once More Earn At The Box Office In 9 Days?

The Tamil romantic film, which also stars Aditi Shankar in the lead role, has completed 9 days in theaters. The film had a slow opening of 0.27 crore. Over the first weekend, the film saw a decent growth, but not enough to sustain. In its first week, the film slowed further, with its daily collection falling below 20 lakh. The film opened its second weekend with just 0.06 crore on its second Friday. On its second Saturday, the film earned 0.07 crore. This brings the film’s net total to 1.96 crore in 9 days, equivalent to 2.31 crore gross.

Arjun Das is eyeing a second failure of the year. His earlier release, Con City, also did poorly at the box office. It wrapped up its lifetime collection at 4.8 crore net in India. In its opening weekend, Con City earned 3.25 crore.

Directed by Vignesh Srikanth, the film is based on a particular part of the director’s personal life. Once More has a brilliant technical team backing it up. Cinematography for the film is by gifted cameraman Aravind Viswanathan. Editing for the film has been handled by Nash, while Raj Kamal has helmed the art direction department. The film marks the Tamil debut of celebrated Malayalam music director Hesham Abdul Wahab, best known for his chartbuster songs in films like Hridayam and Hi Nanna. The film has been produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banner of Million Dollar Studios.
