As a sequel to the well-received film Meesaya Murukku, there was genuine hype among moviegoers, and that is being reflected at the ticket windows so far. On the first day, it scored 3.3 crore, followed by 4.6 crore on Saturday, day 2. On Sunday, day 3, it jumped by 31.52% and scored 6.05 crore. Overall, the film has earned 13.95 crore net at the Indian box office, which equals 16.46 crore gross.
