Therefore, KPop Demon Hunsters 2 must earn more than that to outperform its predecessor’s opening weekend gross. It was released 1700 theaters in North America, and now the sequel will be getting a wider release. Therefore, it can easily beat the first film’s debut and lifetime total at the domestic box office.
The 2025 movie collected $24.3 million domestically in its lifetime. It was released in limited places overseas, collecting less than $1 million. The worldwide box office for the film is slightly below $25 million. KPop Demon Hunters 2 is expected to arrive in 2029 and by then the anticipation is expected to grow further.
