Kabir Singh Box Office (Overseas): Shahid Kapoor came, he took some time and finally he conquered the box office race. Yes, he has made it clear many-a-times about how all of this doesn’t matter to him but it’s surely a celebratory moment. The movie has outlived every expectation and is shining bright at the box office.
Its first Monday was 17.54 crores at the box office and Tuesday was 16.53 crores – it’s trending on a high level. In India, it stands at the grand total of 104.90 crores.
This takes the gross total of the movie to 123.78 crores. As far as the overseas numbers are concerned, the movie has earned in the range of 12 crores.
Worldwide, the movie has now earned 135.78 crores. Going by the speed, the movie will surely cross the 150 crore mark worldwide way sooner than expected. Kabir Singh, also starring Kiara Advani, is a T-Series and Cine1 Studios presentation. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde.
“After a fantastic opening weekend, ‘Kabir Singh‘ has now crossed Rs 100 crore mark. The international markets are also abuzz, we had 132 screens opened in the US for week 1. But the rage of the film has got us to add 46 screens more in the US,” Bhushan said in a statement.
Murad shared that they initially planned to release the film in 2,500-2,800 screens pan India but “owing to the response we garnered in advance booking, we released the movie in 3,123 screens. The film is loved by all and we are happy with the massive response it is garnering in the international market too”.
