The Tamil horror-romantic film had a slow opening at the box office. The film earned 1.25 crore against 972 screens. However, on Day 2, it saw 40% growth, with a collection of 1.6 crore. Amid strong word-of-mouth, the film saw a sharp increase in ticket sales. On Sunday, the showtimes for the film were increased, and the film saw a 4% growth. On Sunday, the Tamil film earned 1.66 crore. This brings the film’s net total in India to 4.51 crore, which equals 5.32 crore gross.

Registers Lowest Opening Weekend For Kayadu Lohar
The film has marked the lowest opening weekend for its lead actress. Immortal is Kayadu’s fifth release of the year. Kayadu began the year with the release of the Telugu film Funky, followed by the Malayalam period drama Pallichattambi. She was then seen in the Tamil rom-com Idhayam Murali, followed by Dulquer Salmaan’s highly anticipated Malayalam fantasy thriller I’m Game. Interestingly, all five of Kayadu Lohar’s films were in different genres.

The film was shot between May 2025 and May 2026. The first song, Love-u Love-u Kaatteri, was released in June 2026, and the second song, She Is My, was released on 27 July 2026.
