The year of 2006 could be well described as the year of sequels as we saw not 1 or 2 but 4 sequels turning out to be a major success. We saw the birth of India’s new Superhero ‘Krrish‘ and Sanjay Dutt aka Munnabhai, trying his hands at Gandhigiri. But speaking about the highest grosser of the year, it was Hrithik Roshan’s Dhoom 2.

Apart from Hrithik, the year was also good for Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan. Also, Rajshri Productions delivered a big success with Shahid Kapoor’s Vivah.
