Anupama Parameswaran and Tharun Bhascker’s latest Telugu film, Crazy Kalyanam, has failed to make an impact at the box office. The film hit theaters on October 16 during a crowded release weekend. However, it struggled to stand out amid competition from films like Ranabaali and Jailer 2. Moreover, even word of mouth failed to draw audiences to theaters. As a result, the film is set to mark another box-office failure for Anupama this year.
How Much Did Crazy Kalyanam Earn At The Box Office In 5 Days?
The Telugu film had a disappointing start at the box office and failed to gain momentum over the weekend. Moreover, the film could not capitalize on the Dussehra holiday to boost its collections. It earned just 23 lakh net in India on the holiday, bringing its total net collection in India to 97 lakh. Consequently, the film has failed to cross the 1 crore mark even after five days in theaters.

A Box Office Washout
Anupama Parameswaran has had three releases this year. All three films have been box-office washouts. Crazy Kalyanam will likely be shown the exit from the big screen in its opening week itself. The actress’s previous two releases, Lockdown and Mareechika, were box-office washouts. While Lockdown reportedly earned less than 10 lakh, Mareechika wrapped up its run with 40 lakh. Now, Crazy Kalyanam is set to wrap up with a total collection of a little over 1 crore.
