Chennai Express All Set To Become 2013’s Highest Grosser

There is a high chance that Chennai Express might become the year’s highest grosser by tomorrow. Given that today is a school-college holiday, the film’s occupancy will again soar. Moreover, the film’s makers have gone for a better business strategy as they are all set to give out one ticket free, for every two tickets of the film! This might result in the film’s box office numbers to see a growth.

Recording a high number of repeat audiences given the popularity of its lead actor Shah Rukh Khan’s fan following, the film will see a higher collections today.

With that there’s a good chance that the film will cross the lifetime income of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which rests at 190.03 crores. Chennai Express has so far collected 185.50 crores at the box office and if the film fares well today too, given the marketing strategy, there is a solid chance that by tomorrow it will become the highest grossing film of the film!
