It was followed by a mega blockbuster, Jailer, which grossed 609.29 crore. Vettaiyan grossed 255.33 crore. His previous release, Coolie, grossed a whopping 516.81 crore. His latest release, Jailer 2, has grossed a massive 425.89 crore in just 4 days.
Combining collections from five releases, Rajinikanth’s grand post-COVID total is 1981.01 crore gross at the worldwide box office. Today, with Jailer 2’s 5-day run, the superstar is all set to become Kollywood’s first actor to gross 2000 crore post-pandemic.
