Varisu followed with 299.2 crore, before Leo turned into a full-blown phenomenon under Lokesh Kanagaraj, earning a massive 606.42 crore globally and becoming one of the highest Kollywood grossers ever. The Greatest Of All Time added a further 458.44 crore, taking his cumulative pre-Jana Nayagan total to 1582.75 crore globally.

Jana Nayagan has now grossed 326.2 crore worldwide in 30 days, taking Thalapathy Vijay’s cumulative post-COVID collection to 1908.95 crore. Even though the film could not deliver the kind of successful run it was expected to do, it has still comfortably pushed Vijay past the 1900 crore milestone globally.
