There are three films that release this weekend – Dishkiyaoon, Youngistaan and O Teri. Each of these belong to a different genre, what with Dishkiyaoon being an action affair, Youngistaan a social entertainer and O Teri a comic drama. Each of these is a mid-budget affair and features young actors. While Dishkiyaoon is a comeback affair for Harman Baweja, Youngistaan is Jackky Bhagnani’s shot at stardom and O Teri comes in the wake of Pulkit’s last success, Fukrey.
From the opening perspective, there won’t be much difference in the three films as all would boil down to word of mouth. Amongst the three, Dishkiyaoon has an edge at single screens due to massy title as well as Sunny Deol’s presence.
At multiplexes, it would be a toss between Youngistaan and O Teri. Each of the three films has seen decent to good promotion though which means eventually it would all boil down to content, as far as footfalls are concerned.
