Box Office Collections: Kabir Singh Is Fantastic In 5th Weekend Too, Article 15 Is Steady Yet Again

Box Office Collections: Kabir Singh enjoyed perhaps its last day in theaters when the collections were over the 1 crore mark. On Sunday, the film brought in 2.30 crores which is quite good all over again. However, from Monday the collections will go under the 1 crore mark and then it is tough to imagine the film managing this feat in weekend to come. Reason being that Judgementall Hai Kya and Arjun Patiala release together and that would not just cut away the screen and shows but also divert audience attention.

Nonetheless, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed film has more than just done its job as the total stands at 271.24 crores. From here, it is all about how much more can it add to its hefty lifetime total. Yes, at one point in time it seemed like 300 Crore Club calling for the Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. Though that mark would be missed by 12-18 crores, the fact remains that Kabir Singh had created numerous records that would be tough to beat for any more adult films or for that matter even romantic musical dramas.

As for Kabir Singh, it has actually established a point that even a dark subject with an offbeat genre has an emerging audience in India. Director Anubhav Sinha went one up over his Mulk with this Ayushmann Khurranna starrer and has delivered a bona fide hit with it. As a result, the collections now stand at 63.05 crores after Sunday brought in another 1.05 crore. Now one waits to see how much popularity does the film manages to gain on the digital medium once it arrives there.
