There is no sigh of relief for Preity Zinta co-starrer. According to estimates, Batwara 1947 added only 75 lakh to its kitty on day 8. It fell below the one crore mark, witnessing a 44% drop in the last 24 hours. From Awarapan 2, the buzz will gradually shift to Toxic, making it tougher for Sunny Deol’s film to survive.
The cumulative total at the Indian box office reaches 33 crore net after 8 days. Including GST, the gross earnings stand at 38.96 crore.
