The craze for Salman Khan’s Bodyguard is growing by the day. At last count, the film was scheduled to open on 2,247 screens all over India. Add another 325 screens abroad! Looking to the huge expectations, these numbers can only be expected to go up in the next few days as some more cinemas sign contracts to screen the eagerly awaited film from 31st August.
Guesses are being hazarded in trade circles about how much the film will net in the five-day festive weekend. While pessimists feel, it will cross the Rs. 40 crore mark, optimists opine that the film can easily touch the Rs. 60 crore mark because of the Eid festival. If the guesswork of the optimists goes right, Bodyguard will become the film to net the highest amount in the first weekend. Of course, absolute Salman loyalists are ready to bet their last shirt on the Rs. 60 crore-plus mark. According to them, the weekend figure could be Rs. 65 crore!!

hi salman bahi mai aapka bohot bdaa firend hu
Considering the hype that bodyguard has created in the last few months and before it is likely that the film’s first weekend will be more than 65 crores. It has a five day weekend in hand that too festive eid where salman has scored heavily in the past two weeks.film will benifit from a number of factors via-a-vis salman khan’s starpower, recent track record, the first trailer, etc, etc.The only thing that won’t contribute to the film’s mega collections as hat did previously is the average music composed by Himesh…but on account of the positives alone the film will touch a mark i think above 65 crore.
