Hermione Jean Granger (1997-2011)
She is one of the most renowned witches of all times. Immortalized by J.K Rowling’s classic series Harry Potter, Hermoine is always going to be remembered in literature and cinema memorably. The launch of Sony’s new television series managed a great deal of interest from the audiences. Fashioned on a supernatural theme, the story revolves around a love story which is under the dark spell of Anamika, a witch who wants to win over a man in love with another woman. Simran Kaur who looks gorgeous as the chudail Anamika, has to be one of most striking witches on Indian television.
Ek Thi Daayan is definitely not a new concept. Already worked on by Vishal Bhardwaj before, the film’s own co-producer, the idea has seen a substantial revamping before being used again as Daayan. Mysteries around the film’s story are still looming large with the main antagonist becoming difficult to place, this Friday’s release will definitely give to the Indian horror film scenario an elevated dimension!
