When Ajay Devgn TROLLED A Reporter Over The Clash Of Son Of Sardaar & Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan

No one can forget the epic clash of Bollywood that took place in 2012. Yes, here we are talking about the clash between Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar. Unfortunately, earlier touted to be a healthy competition, later got ugly.

Both biggies arrived on 13th November 2012. Ajay’s SOS went onto collect 105.03 crores and emerged as the box office hit. On the other hand, SRK’s JTHJ amassed 120.65 with a super-hit status. Thus, it could be said that the end result was good for both the films at the box office. But it wasn’t a sweet ride for both films before the release as they had grabbed headlines for the wrong reasons.

Before the release, Ajay Devgn had alleged YRF (producer and distributor of Jab Tak Hai Jaan) for using the power in snatching a big chunk of a screen count. Back then, the Singham actor did admit of being upset over YRF’s move but didn’t utter word on Shah Rukh Khan.

But several media houses had tried to make it war between Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan. One such instance took place during the promotional event of Son Of Sardaar. One of the reports poked Ajay by asking for his response on Shah Rukh’s request to shift the release date of his comic caper.

To this Ajay had a savage reply. Initially, Ajay asked (to the reporter), “Ye Aapko Shah Rukh Sahab Ne Call Karke Khud Bola (did Shah Rukh personally call and inform you)?” To which the reported said, “No, Aisa Suna Hai (no, just heard about it)”. And then the Singham actor came up with a sarcastic reply, “Toh Aapko Sunne Ka Problem Hai (then you have some hearing problem).”

Ajay Devgn later refuted all such reports as fake by saying, “Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t commented on shifting Son Of Sardaar‘s release date. Contrary to it, he wants both the films to release on the same date and do well.”
