Shah Rukh Khan and controversies go hand in hand. Be it expressing his views or staying mum, the Bollywood superstar has always found himself surrounded by controversy. Amidst the wave of protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC), Khan was questioned over his silence over the issue. Now, there’s one picture of Khan which is going viral over the internet, which has triggered the netizens.
As per the claims over the picture, Shah Rukh Khan took part in the protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in London and later was arrested at Heathrow Airport. Expectedly, the viral picture stirred a fury amongst a section of netizens.
Now, as per the investigation report of India Today, the claims are all fake as the picture is seven years older. The picture was clicked in 2012, when Shah Rukh Khan reached BBC Radio’s office in London.

Meanwhile, Radio jockey and actor Roshan Abbas recently questioned the silence of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan over the violence against students of Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi.
Abbas took to Twitter and asked him who has made him quiet. “Say something @iamsrk you are from Jamia too. Who has made you so quiet? #IStandWithJamiaMilliaStudents,” Abbas tweeted.
A string of Bollywood celebrities including Rajkummar Rao, Taapsee Pannu, Alankrita Shrivastava, Richa Chadha, Anubhav Sinha, Anurag Kashyap and Parineeti Chopra posted opinions on the amended Citizenship Act (CAA) after the protests at Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University.
Abbas’s tweet comes in the wake of severe protests against CAA, which continues in different parts of the country including Delhi, Assam, Hyderabad, Aligarh and Kolkata.
