Vijay Deverakonda has proved that he is a true blue Arjun Reddy. The Telugu star who is currently promoting his upcoming film Dear Comrade, was asked if he has seen Kabir Singh – the Hindi remake of his blockbuster. Giving a savage reply to the question he said that he is not interested in watching the film because there’s nothing that he doesn’t know about it.
During a press interaction in Bangalore for Dear Comrade, Vijay said, “Shahid has done that film, he has gone through the character and there is nothing for me to watch it again. I know the story, I have done that film, why will I watch again?”
He even said that the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been requesting him to watch the film. He asked, “Kya picture, Kya dekenge. I wanted the Hindi film to be a big hit, because Sandeep is my man. But unexpectedly, it became a blockbuster. Done. No more discussion there.”
Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Dear Comrade will is slated to release on July 26. Directed by Bharath Kamma, the film will also release in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Meanwhile, Kabir Singh is unstoppable at the Box Office even in the 4th week. The film has added 10.34 crores in the 4th weekend which takes the total business to 259.94 crores so far. The film has proved to be highest Bollywood grosser of 2019 and 9th highest grosser of All Time.
