Sitar Maestro Pandir Ravi Shankar, who was considered among India’s best known contemporary musicians, passed away in San Diego on Tuesday at the age of 92. Ravi Shankar ji was admitted in the Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla for breathing difficulties. Ravi Shankarji is survived by his wife Sukanya and daughters Anoushka and Norah Jones.
